Recently I was praying with a team of intercessors in Kansas City asking God to mature and cleanse (where necessary) the prophetic movement in the body of Christ. We were praying out on a property called “Shiloh” which was instrumental in birthing the prophetic movement here in the US in the late 80′s, early 90′s. In our prayer times, we were also asking for a fresh wave of prophetic messengers to the nations with a heart of holiness and purity. During these days, I had a dream.
DREAM: 3 groups of intercessors where in 3 river rafts traveling through waterways under Kansas City. These waterways were like ravines with open air above us, yet under the city. In each raft I recognized a well know prophet who was instrumental in the birthing of the prophetic movement. Except the 3rd raft was an older lady I do not know, but recognize as a KC intercessor. ( The 2 male prophets were major prophetic voices, that both had a public moral fall out of some sort. ) We were traveling in these rafts inspecting the waters of Kansas City to see if they had been cleansed. I noticed that chlorine was being pumped into the waters. In the dream, we all saw this as a good thing of cleansing. The water was very clear and transparent. Satisfied that all was well, the intercessors left the waters. The two old prophets then joined me in our blue ministry van, and we went on the road. END DREAM
I believe this dream was a confirmation to our prayers, that God is doing a purifying work of the prophetic. (Chlorine in the waters) The fact that the prophets went in our blue ministry van to go on the road, speaks of the revelation (blue) driven messengers going out to the nation.
This new wave of the prophetic will be marked with humility, accountability, and accuracy!
Interestingly, Kansas City is know as “the city of fountains” with over 200 fountains. Also, its tap (city) water is ranked #1 in the United States!
PRAYER: Lord release humble prophetic ministries with the spirit of Jesus! (Rev 19:10) Thank you that you are purifying your church. Cleanse her with the washing of the water of your word! Let us have grace with each other as we are all growing “to the stature of the fullness of Christ.” AMEN
